Job Description
Provides support, treatment, measurement, and/or supplementation of patient's cardiopulmonary and circulatory function. Works under general supervision to set up heart-lung machine for surgeons, operates bypass equipment, and conducts bypasses for heart surgeries and liver transplants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an allied health field, perfusion, or related scientific field, and graduate of an accredited Perfusion program
  • American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Certified or eligible for certification
  • Perfusion licensure by Texas Medical Board or meet requirements to obtain licensure
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through a course accredited by the American Heart Association
