Role OverviewThis job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectively delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members. Assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes, exhibits sensitivity to cultural, ethnic and religious diversity in all interactions, and maintains involvement in activities aimed toward the achievement of unit and the department's strategic goals and objectives.
What You Will Do
Performs other duties as assigned, complies with all policies and standards, and remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Preferred certifications include clinical specialty area and Bachelor's degree in nursing.
