Role OverviewThe selected candidate will be placed in the classification in which they meet minimum qualifications. The role involves serving the public and working to make the roads in Ohio safer. The candidate will attend training to obtain CDL licensure and perform highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and snow & ice operations.

The main day-to-day responsibilities include performing highway maintenance activities, attending training to obtain CDL licensure, and participating in employee tuition reimbursement programs.

Requirements
- Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary
- Must obtain Class B Commercial Drivers License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
- Ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
