Role OverviewThe Person-Centered Counselor is responsible for timely responding to referrals, scheduling and conducting in-person intake assessments, and educating Veterans about the VDC program. This role involves collaborating with Veterans to create and annually review individualized Spending Plans, ensuring compliance with policy and documentation standards, and maintaining regular communication with program participants.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university
- Four years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Veteran Preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with office administrative procedures
- Ability to travel to any county within our service area
- Proficiency in multitasking under time constraints
- Strong organizational abilities, precision, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in technology usage
- Ability to quickly adapt to new equipment, applications, and platforms
- Possession of a car for use during working hours
- Valid driver's license
- Capability to lift objects weighing up to 20 lbs
