Role OverviewWaFd Bank is hiring a Personal Banker to assist clients with personal and business banking solutions, improve their financial health, and help them reach their goals. The successful candidate will build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions. They will also adhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations.
What You Will Do
As a personal banker, you will build rapport with clients, open new accounts, onboard new relationships, originate loans and lines, refer to partners to help meet additional needs, and make out-of-office business development calls to businesses, community organizations, and referral sources.

Requirements
- High school diploma or approved equivalent
- Good math skills, 10-key and keyboarding
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Teams, PowerBI, and Outlook
- Well-developed smart phone and digital channel skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills and superior written and oral communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate how to use automated technology to teach clients self-service skills
- Valid driver’s license, satisfactory transportation, and adequate insurance coverage
- Prior banking experience, including familiarity with lending, previous work in retail, consumer service delivery, or client relation
