Role OverviewPersonal Bankers build professional relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and deliver valuable products and services to meet those needs. They work in a fast-paced environment, conducting accurate banking transactions and promoting bank products to individuals and companies. Successful Personal Bankers are enthusiastic about delivering an excellent client experience and achieving individual and group goals.
What You Will Do
As a Personal Banker, you will provide consistent client service, promote consumer/small business banking products, achieve sales goals, develop and maintain relationships with business partners, and open checking and savings accounts. You will also educate clients about digital banking platforms and work closely with clients and business partners to refer products and services.
Why It Might Be a Fit
To be successful in this role, you will need strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and basic math skills. You will also need to be proficient in basic office skills and equipment, including computer, email, and Microsoft Office suite of products. Previous banking experience and sales experience are preferred, but not required.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Previous banking experience preferred
- 6 months in a client service experience role preferred
- 6 months sales experience preferred
- Minimum 6 months cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to be NMLS licensed and registered
- Ability to obtain a state notary license
