Role Overview

The Personal Banker is responsible for winning new business and consumer deposit and loan relationships and deepening existing relationships by delivering exceptional customer service.

What You Will Do

Build skills toward a solid knowledge base of bank products and services, assist clients with their banking needs, and introduce and demonstrate digital and self-service options to clients.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or approved equivalent
  • Business related college classes or degree preferred
  • Good math skills, 10-key and keyboarding, standard Microsoft Office tools
  • Smart phone and digital channel skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate how to use automated technology to teach clients self-service skills
  • Satisfactory transportation
  • Prior banking experience, including previous work in customer service or equivalent
  • 2 - 4 years' experience in banking, experience in recommending products and services or experience in client relationship management
