Role OverviewWhisper Woods of Smithtown is looking for compassionate PCAs to join our resident care team. The role involves delivering care to assisted living and memory care residents. This is a full-time and part-time position with shifts available from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am.
What You Will Do
Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Document care provided and report changes in resident health or behavior. Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support. Utilize customer service skills to ensure exceptional care.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires a valid PCA license; prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living is preferred but not required. Experience working with people with dementia is desired.
