Job Description
Role Overview

The Personal Care Attendant I provides assistance to frail elderly individuals in their homes or at the Adult Day Health Center, demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary to provide personal care and ADL/IADL care.

What You Will Do

Provides Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Independent Activities of Daily Living (IADL) to support participants, completes safe transfers, documents participant services, and maintains a clean and orderly environment.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with frail, low-income elderly, be proficient in oral and written English, and have basic proficiency in computer skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid California driver's license
  • Current vehicle insurance
  • Access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current Basic Life Support CPR card
  • First Aid Card
  • Proficient in oral and written English
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with frail, low-income elderly
