Job Description
The Personal Care Attendant II provides assistance to CEI participants in their homes or day centers, providing caregiving services, including personal care and ADL/IADL care to frail elderly people. The role involves following participant care plans, documenting services, and maintaining a safe environment. The position requires a valid California Certified Nursing Assistant license or Certified Home Health Aide and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Requirements

  • Valid California Certified Nursing Assistant license or Certified Home Health Aide
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid California driver’s license, current vehicle insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle (if working in Home Care)
  • Current Basic Life Support CPR card and First Aid Card
  • Proficient with oral and written English
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills
  • Minimum 1 (one) year of experience working with frail, low-income elderly people (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Bilingual (preferred but not required)
