Role OverviewProvide personal financial services to military service members and their families at military installations. Work closely with installation and military branch Points of Contact to ensure the program meets the needs of the installation.
What You Will Do
Provide personal financial counseling and management services, develop informational financial materials, coordinate and provide financial management classes, and respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have 3+ years of financial counseling experience, a bachelor's degree, and one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of financial counseling experience
- Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) certification
- U.S. citizenship
- Fluent English
- Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation
- Ability to pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process
