Job Description
We are seeking a Pharmacist Intern to join our MTM Pharmacy team, supporting the MTM clinical ambulatory program at HHS. The intern will provide support for operational needs, outreach efforts, and direct patient visits under pharmacist supervision.

Requirements

  • Supports the values of the organization
  • Participates in active learning through assigned preceptors
  • Maintains the pharmacy in a clean and organized fashion
  • Completes and documents Outreach encounters within the electronic health record
  • Assists in completing required communication/documentation for billed claims to Medicare insurance plans
  • Contributes to the patient care process within the ambulatory pharmacy spaces
  • Actively recruits and schedules patients to be seen by an ambulatory care pharmacist
  • Participates in assigned projects that focus on outreach and educational efforts
  • Serves within our community pharmacy sites
  • Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team
