Job Description
South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital is seeking a pharmacist to provide exceptional and quality care to patients. The pharmacist will work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist Director and ensure the safe and effective use of medications.

Requirements

  • Registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist
  • Under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist Director
  • Knowledge of medication order verification, dosage regimen design, and effective administration
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Proficiency in Pharmacy distributive services and electronic medical records
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA policy
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including irregular or unexpectedly shortened/extended hours
