What You Will Do
The Oncology Pharmacist Specialist will be responsible for providing oncology expertise in the review of chemotherapy orders and treatment plans for our hospitals in Hillcrest, Chula Vista, La Jolla and Encinitas. This includes overseeing technicians and preparation of chemotherapy and other IV products, as well as reviewing chemotherapy regimen and interacting with physicians to discuss treatment plans.

Requirements
- BS Pharmacy or Pharm.D. Degree
- PGY1 and PGY2 residency in area of specialty or related specialty OR PGY1 and 2 years' practice experience in area of specialty or related specialty OR 5 years' experience in area of specialization
- California Pharmacist License
- AHA BLS for the health care provider
- Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) or other nationally accredited certification required within 2 years' of hire
