Job Description
The Pharmacy Intern is an advanced technician-level position that develops knowledge base and competency level while performing pharmacy functions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The role includes patient care rounds, drug purchasing, medication counseling, and more.

Requirements

  • High School Equivalent / GED
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Prior experience as a pharmacy intern in a retail, hospital, or community setting (Preferred)
  • Eligible to work as a pharmacy intern in the state of Ohio
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
  • Exhibiting strong organizational skills and work ethic
  • Demonstrates professional demeanor when responding to customers/patients
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office and Windows
  • Familiar with operation of standard office equipment
  • Working knowledge of clinical drug information
