Role OverviewCVS Health is transforming health care, and within our Retail locations, 3rd year Pharmacy Interns play a critical role in supporting pharmacy teams to deliver on our brand promise. This role applies didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice to become ready for a Pharmacist role. Under the direction of a preceptor, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap to gain an overview of store, district, and regional operations.
What You Will Do
You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations. Responsibilities include following SOPs at each workstation, contributing to positive patient experiences, offering immunizations, taking telephonic prescriptions, completing basic inventory activities, and delivering additional patient health care services like immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed.

Requirements
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
