Role OverviewCVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in retail locations. This role focuses on applying didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice to prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under the direction of a preceptor, the intern will complete a comprehensive training roadmap covering store, district, and regional operations.
What You Will Do
Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations, accurate prescription fulfillment, and caring patient service. Complete a training roadmap including Key Learning Experiences (KLEs) and activities. Take on increasing responsibility for safety and effectiveness of pharmacy operations, including following SOPs, contributing to positive patient experiences, and offering immunizations where allowed.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Candidates must be accepted into or enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy school and possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern licensure. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of related work experience and ability to become immunization certified. The role offers a pay range of $20.00 - $23.75 per hour and benefits including dental, vision, wellness resources, and employee discounts.
