Role OverviewAs a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you work as part of the pharmacy team to deliver our purpose of increasing access, lowering costs, and improving quality of care. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management excluding final prescription verification. You will also keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs.

You must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required. Requirements
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
- Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
- Ability to reach overhead
- Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
- Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
- Ability to stoop to a considerable degree
- Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity to perform activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
- Able to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
- Ability to complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
- Complete all required training and obtain required licensure (if applicable) within state guidelines
