Role Overview

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care while supporting patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management.

You will keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs. Responsibilities include leading with empathy, seeking growth opportunities, collaborating with others, aligning teams around purpose, and facilitating a team culture of caring and enthusiasm.

You must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure. Requirements

  • Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
  • 0-3 years relevant work experience
  • Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
  • Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
  • Finger dexterity for picking, pinching, typing
  • Ability to reach overhead
  • Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
  • Precision control to adjust machines
  • Ability to stoop
  • Visual acuity for transcribing, viewing computer terminal, reading, visual inspection
  • Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
