Role OverviewAs a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you work as part of the pharmacy team to deliver purpose, model values, and demonstrate authentic care for patients. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient.
What You Will Do
You will keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management excluding final prescription verification.

This role requires being accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy, with 0-3 years relevant work experience. You must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required. Requirements
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
- Finger dexterity for picking, pinching, typing
- Ability to reach overhead
- Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
- Precision control to adjust machines
- Ability to stoop
- Visual acuity for transcribing, viewing computer terminal, reading, visual inspection
- Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
