Role OverviewThis role is under direct supervision of operations manager and performs benefit investigation tasks, submits prior authorizations, and documents on the patient chart. The position requires proficiency in math and knowledge of a computer. The role is part of the Home Delivery pharmacy team.

The major responsibilities include completing benefit investigations, submitting prior authorizations, conducting follow-up phone calls, maintaining a perpetual inventory of medications, and coordinating prescription delivery.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current license with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy
- Certified by one of the national governing bodies such as Pharmacy Technician Certification Board PTCB, or the National Healthcareer Association ExCPT
- Minimum of one year of related experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Proficiency in math and knowledge of a computer
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions with accuracy, efficiency, and dependability
