Role OverviewThe Pharmacy Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing solutions in anticipation of patient needs and greeting every patient verbally, with eye contact, and body language that is welcoming and friendly. This highly visible role supports departmental teams and interacts with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include interviewing/registering/instructing patients, entering and validating medical and demographic data, maintaining confidential health records, processing physician orders, and scheduling medication deliveries.

Requirements
- High School Equivalent / GED
- 1+ years experience in call center, patient registration, scheduling, office, banking, customer service or related medical field using computers
- Demonstrated ability to use PCs, MS Office, and general office equipment
- Excellent keyboarding/data entry skills
- Detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem solving ability
- Notable client service, communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent spelling
