Assist pharmacists in the retrieval, processing, preparation, and distribution of medications for patient administration. Perform various tasks related to drug distribution, inventory management, and patient communication.
Requirements
Accurate preparation of patient medications
Timely delivery of patient specific medications
Inventories, replenishes, and maintains drug stock
Orients and trains new staff
Utilizes pharmacy systems to process prescriptions
Accurately prepares dangerous drugs for dispensing
Maintains open communication with nurses and other personnel
