Role OverviewThe Pharmacy Technician 2 assists pharmacists in the retrieval, processing, preparation, and distribution of medications for patient administration. The Technician 2 functions in all aspects of drug distribution that do not require the professional judgment of a pharmacist.
What You Will Do
Accurate preparation of patient medications, accurate and timely delivery of patient specific medications, inventories, replenishes, and maintains drug stock, orients and trains new staff, and other duties as assigned.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Prior experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or community setting is preferred, and a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) State of Ohio CPhT license is required.
Requirements
- High School Equivalent / GED
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program
- Prior experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or community setting
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) State of Ohio CPhT license
