Role OverviewThe Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of the Pharmacy Coordinator or Pharmacist, performing various tasks such as extemporaneous compounding, re-packaging bulk medications, and entering charges and credits. The shift for this role is full-time night shift (7 on, 7 off) 8pm - 7am with weekend work required.
What You Will Do
Performs job responsibilities in accordance with organizational and departmental policies, procedures, performance improvement objectives and environmental and infection control standards. Coordinates daily workflow in assigned area and provides leadership to other technicians.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in pharmacy or equivalent technician, a Registered Technician or Pharmacist Intern license, and a Basic Life Support Certification. The candidate should also have good math reasoning skills, attention to detail, and English skills (speaking, reading, writing).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in pharmacy or equivalent technician
- TSBP) REG PHARMACY TECNICIAN
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
