Role OverviewThe Pharmacy Technician 3 is a proficient technician that assists pharmacists in the retrieval, processing, preparation, and distribution of medications for patient administration. The Technician 3 functions and can train in all aspects of drug distribution that do not require the professional judgment of a pharmacist.
What You Will Do
Accurately prepares non-hazardous compounded sterile products, performs hazardous drug compounding, assists in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performs inventory replenishment and cycle counts, orients and trains new staff, and contributes to team problem-solving.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, good communication skills, and knowledge of pharmacy computer systems, TPN compounders, and automated dispensing cabinets.
Requirements
- High School Equivalent / GED
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program
- At least Two (2) years of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) State of Ohio CPhT license
