Role OverviewAt CVS Health, Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence within retail stores. They are often the first point of contact to assist patients and customers, ensuring prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service that exceeds patient expectations.
What You Will Do
Technicians follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe prescription fulfillment, complete basic inventory activities like cycle counts and returns-to-stocks, and contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and offering immunizations and other services. They also remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including traveling to other stores in the market.
