Role OverviewAt CVS Health, Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence within retail stores. They are often the first point of contact to assist patients and customers, ensuring prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service that exceeds expectations.
What You Will Do
Technicians follow Standard Operating Procedures at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe prescription fulfillment. They contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, offering immunizations and other services, completing basic inventory activities, and supporting additional patient health care services like point-of-care testing where allowable.

Requirements
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification

- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
