Role OverviewAt CVS Health, Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence within retail stores. Technicians are often the first point of contact to assist patients and customers, ensuring pharmacy operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
What You Will Do
Technicians follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe prescription fulfillment, contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and offering immunizations, complete basic inventory activities, and deliver additional patient health care services like immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowable.

Requirements
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification

- If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
