Role OverviewAs a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within a retail store. You are often the first point of contact to assist patients and customers, ensuring an exceptional experience. This role involves filling prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service that exceeds patient expectations.
What You Will Do
You will follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment. You will contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, offering immunizations and other services, and solving or escalating patient problems. You will complete basic inventory activities, such as putting away medication deliveries and performing cycle counts. You will also remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including traveling to other stores in the market as needed.
