Role OverviewAssist patients in dropping off written prescriptions and picking up filled prescriptions, verifying the correct patient is picking up the correct medication. Assist the pharmacist by correctly entering prescriptions, including refills, into the computer, adjudicating through insurance, filling and labeling prescriptions.
What You Will Do
Work with pharmacy benefit managers to process rejected prescriptions through insurances. Assist the pharmacist with the transfer of prescriptions between pharmacies (certified pharmacy technicians only). Update patient profile information within the designated electronic health record system.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician registration required in accordance with Massachusetts Regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
