Phlebotomist - Part time

Join our team at Geisinger Medical Laboratories as a Phlebotomist. You will be responsible for collecting and procuring blood and human specimens in the clinical setting. This role is an important component of patient experience, and you will collaborate with clinical counterparts to provide a safe environment that promotes the best possible outcomes.

What You Will Do

Performs venipunctures and skin punctures to obtain blood specimens, demonstrates expertise in patient identification, specimen collection, labeling, accessioning, and processing, and works under the leadership of Phlebotomist III, Preanalytical Specialist, Team Lead, Supervisor, or other Laboratory Leader.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• Related work experience
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician - American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
