Role OverviewPerforms phlebotomy functions and non-technical duties in areas including the hospital laboratory, outpatient and off-site services. Responsible for the safe and accurate collection and disposition of blood samples and responsible for performing associate's laboratory duties.
What You Will Do
Collects blood samples, performs clerical duties, interacts with patients and hospital staff, and maintains patient records.

Requires knowledge of established department and hospital policies and procedures, ability to follow strict guidelines for patient identification and specimen labeling, and competency in blood collection of all age brackets.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)
- New graduate at the discretion of the Director
