Role OverviewThe Phlebotomist 2 maintains records of tests performed and blood samples taken, and may perform waived or moderate complex tests in a laboratory setting. They may also assist in the supervision and training of lower-level Phlebotomists.
What You Will Do
Performs an acceptable productivity level without a significant error rate, identifies patients, collects samples, and labels specimens according to established protocol. May schedule and assign work to staff members, monitor work quality and quantity, and ensure efficient departmental operations.
