Role OverviewPhlebotomist I is a part-time position at Swedish Hospital in Chicago, responsible for collecting blood and body fluid samples, operating LIS, and providing customer service. The position is part-time, 8 hours, Monday-Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays.
What You Will Do
Proficiently performs accurate venipunctures and capillary specimen collection, operates LIS, prepares and assists in processing blood and body fluid samples, and ensures timely customer service. Assists in orientation and training of phlebotomy staff, identifies problems, and notifies lead/supervisory personnel.
