Role OverviewThe Phlebotomist provides expertise in blood draws and specimen preparation, putting patients at ease and obtaining sufficient samples with minimal discomfort. They work in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting, following established procedures and regulations.
What You Will Do
Collect and store specimens, explain the process of venipuncture and other specimen collection, and package specimens for transport. You will also answer telephone calls and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed
- Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
