Role OverviewLabcorp is a global leader in laboratory services, seeking a phlebotomist to join the team in Slidell, LA. The role involves performing blood collections and specimen collections in a Patient Service Center or Client office, providing exceptional customer service, and being the face of the company.
What You Will Do
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens and alcohol tests, perform data entry of patient information, process billing information and collect payments, prepare specimens for testing, maintain patient and specimen logs, provide customer service, and perform administrative duties. Travel to additional sites when needed.

Requirements

- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
