Role Overview

The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients, performing EKGs, and processing laboratory specimens for testing. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Collect blood specimens from patients, perform EKGs, process laboratory specimens for testing, and provide clerical and receptionist services to the lab.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Completion of Phlebotomy Certification Course, Medical Assistant Program, or graduate of a nursing program
  • 6 months phlebotomy experience
  • Experience using a Laboratory Information System
