Performs a variety of patient services such as Phlebotomy, EKG, and DNA collections on a routine and STAT basis as required.
What You Will Do
Performs venipunctures, capillary, POCT, EKG, PKU, DUI, Drug Screen and DNA collections for all age groups, at all Patient Care Service Centers and Diagnostic locations. Processes, prepares and stores all specimens for transport, in accordance with laboratory handbook and departmental SOP requirement.

Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year of experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of best practices and regulation of blood drawing techniques and collection
- Course work or previous medical terminology experience
- Good interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and providers
- Ability to build comprehensive reports and effectively convey information to others
- Knowledge of safety guidelines, utilization of proper PPE and sanitization processes
