Performs venipuncture and capillary phlebotomy procedures, reviews requisitions, processes specimens, and provides patient data.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires a high school graduate with phlebotomy training or experience, and basic life support certification.
Requirements
- High School graduate with successful completion from a recognized program for training in phlebotomy or prior documented experience perform phlebotomies
- Basic life support certification required within 3 months of employment and maintenance of annual competencies in BLS
