Perform various laboratory functions to support patient care, conduct phlebotomy procedures, process and receive specimens, access specimens, distribute specimens, and perform specific test procedures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Current license or trainee license in the state of practice (preferred)
  • Phlebotomy course completion (preferred)
  • Computer skills and dexterity for data entry and retrieval of patient information
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of venipuncture procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills
