WTAE, the ABC affiliate in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Local News Photographer with the ability to capture the essence of stories and bring them to life. The role involves shooting, editing, and executing live shots, along with editing for newscasts. The photographer will work collaboratively with assignment desks, reporters, and producers to create high-quality content.

Requirements

  • Training in the art of video photojournalism
  • Professional or college experience in a newsroom
  • Up to 50 pounds of equipment
  • Experience with ENG trucks
  • Can work in all weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Computer and software experience
  • Organizational and prioritization skills
  • Unwavering journalistic integrity
  • Experience with digital editing tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
