Job Description
Lightmatter is hiring a Photonic Hardware Validation Engineer to join its Validation team. The role involves designing, developing, and building photonic test systems for the characterization and validation of Lightmatter's products. The team is looking for a passionate and expert individual who can tackle complex challenges and make an impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in data communications field, specifically in electro-optic link-level testing and characterization
  • Familiarity with PCB design, hardware testing, and debugging of electro-optic circuits
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to quickly gain knowledge of Lightmatter products
