Role OverviewThe Physical Education Classroom Assistant will support the classroom teacher in planning, guiding, and evaluating the learning process of students in a Catholic school. The assistant will help prepare instructional materials, assist with students, and support learning activities defined by the teacher.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Physical Education Classroom Assistant include monitoring and assisting individual students in small instructional groups, supervising students at lunch, recess, and in routine movement, and performing clerical tasks.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must meet staff development guidelines as set forth by the Diocese and school administration
- Must complete Religion Certification Part 1 within two years of the date of hire
- Must submit an Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) Application for Ministry within the first week of employment
