Job Description
IDEA Physical Education teachers will instruct students in Academy Grades (PreK-5) and College Preparatory Grades (6-12) in all physical education aspects. The program focuses on developing students' fitness and skills, and provides a supportive environment to achieve success in college. The teacher focuses on motivating students to be physically active and behavior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
  • Some experience in a classroom setting
  • State certification preferred
  • Ability to motivate students
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability to various school environments
