Role OverviewA modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Independence is seeking a Physical Therapist to join its clinical team. This role involves working with patients across a wide age range, from adolescents to older adults, who need help with orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical recovery, weakness, balance concerns, and mobility limitations.
What You Will Do
Evaluate patients and determine physical therapy needs, create treatment plans, provide skilled therapy, guide patients through therapeutic exercises, and maintain accurate documentation.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Preferred candidates will have a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, active Missouri Physical Therapist license, and strong patient communication and documentation skills.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
- Strong patient communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work well in a team-based clinic environment
