Job Description
Physical Therapy Assistant - Acute Care position responsible for providing physical therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Requirements

  • Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
  • Assists the Physical Therapist during patient testing, evaluations and procedures.
  • Reports any changes in a patient's condition to the supervising Physical Therapist and assists in updating treatment plans.
  • Supervises Rehabilitation Technicians and Aides appropriately.
