Role OverviewVNA of Boston is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to work for our Dorchester team. The PTA will provide therapeutic care to patients and families in Dorchester, Roxbury, Quincy, and surrounding towns. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM, with no weekends or holidays.
What You Will Do
The PTA will work independently to provide therapeutic care to patients and families, focusing on restoring, promoting or maintaining function and minimizing the effects of illness or disability.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires 1 year of experience in an acute care setting or comparable work experience, with a preference for home health experience. The compensation is $35.00 - $46.00 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensed to practice in Massachusetts
- 1 year of experience in an acute care setting or comparable work experience
