Role OverviewThe Ponce Care Center is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join their team. The PTA will assist Physical Therapists in helping patients recover and rehabilitate from the effects of a serious illness, injury or medical event.
What You Will Do
The PTA will promote and maintain health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist. They will administer treatment programs for patients, assess patient health, and perform therapeutic procedures.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a current Florida License as a PTA and at least one year of experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility. They will be responsible for promoting and maintaining health, administering treatment programs, and performing therapeutic procedures.
Requirements
- Current Florida License as a PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant)
- Current CP
- At least one (1) experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
