Role OverviewWe are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work in a full-time in-person position at our facility in Johnstown, NY. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and will be responsible for providing physical therapy plans and modalities to residents. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing physical therapy plans and modalities to residents, documenting resident progress, and completing daily activity schedules and progress notes. They will also be responsible for training and supervising subordinate staff, communicating with residents and staff, and maintaining confidentiality of facility and resident information.

We are looking for a candidate with a current unencumbered NYS license as a Physical Therapy Assistant, a graduate of an accredited school with an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy, and geriatric experience preferred.
